Rhondo Rach wins with ease the Prize NADJA AJR

Saliba Brothers and the trainer L. Quintana conquer first, third and fifth place in the exclusive Arabian Horses Racing

Rhondo Rach (Vaillant Rach X Rhondda Rach by Gothos Rach) shone from the beginning to the final at the 1000-meter Nadja AJR Race in heavy turf, held on Saturday, June 17, at the Hippodrome of Cidade Jardim in Sao Paulo.

Ridden by Valdir Souza and trained by L. Quintana, Rhondo Rach disputed the lead of the race with Velozter; and in the final 50 meters he fired to cross easily and complete the course in 01'05''453. In second, in great run over in the final meters, AMB Acalanto (Altam Yshmail x Heiress Rach by Capitan Rach), trained by Thiago Haidar and ridden by A.R. Oliveira.

Third was Mozart HVP (Nesj El Khibo X Cinderella HVP by FA El Shawan) under the reins of G. Ribeiro and also trained by L. Quintana.

Rhondo Rach is owned by Ricardo Jamil Saliba and Mozart HVP by Paulo Jamil Saliba. The Saliba Brothers, owners of Rach Stud, are the biggest supporters of the Arabian Horse races in Brazil.

Vertente Rach (Vaillant Rach X Vienna Rach by Aleksander Rach), ridden by Rudinick Viana and also trained by L. Quintana, another animal from Rach Stud, crossed in fifth place.

"We are very happy with this second victory of Rhondo Rach that did not get well in his last two races, but thanks to the competent work of the trainer Lucas Quintana and Dr. Fernando Bassan, who took care of localized pain that were damaging his performance, Rhondo Rach returned to the best of his form and almost broke his own record in the 1000 meters. The grass was heavy and he came two-tenths of the record. Rhondo Rach is the son Rhondda Rach, also winner in Cidade Jardim. He will now be prepared for the Wathba Stallion Cup promoted by HH Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on July 22 and we expect a good performance, "said Ricardo and Paulo Jamil Saliba.
